Sunderland Records 13 Property Transfers as Bank-Involved Deeds Dominate Period

Sunderland recorded 13 property transfers between Sept. 18 and Oct. 17, but only two listed a sale price so far: $100,000 for a condominium unit at 370 Montague Rd and $203,000 for a single-family home at 156 Russell St, yielding a two-sale median of $151,500.

Price not yet available for the remaining 11 transfers, consistent with the registry's typical lag of about a week. The top recorded sale, 156 Russell St at $203,000, transferred from an individual seller to PeoplesBank. More than half of the period's transfers involved a bank or credit union as either buyer or seller, and Russell Street, Montague Road and North Main Street each saw two sales apiece.
