Sunderland Home Sales Split Between Under $100,000 And Over $700,000

Twelve properties changed hands in Sunderland between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, according to Franklin County Registry of Deeds records, but only four listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $50,000 to $712,500, with a median of $396,000 among those four sales. The month's top transaction was 90 North Plain Road, which sold for $712,500 to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on Aug. 17. Two sales each were recorded on Howard Hepburn Drive and Silver Lane. With eight of 12 transfers lacking a reported price, including several bank, trust and housing-authority transactions, the data offers only a partial view of market conditions this period.
