Sunderland boards reviewed the FY27 override budget ahead of town meeting. The Selectboard and Finance Committee met April 8 as Town Administrator B. Torres reported the town lawyer is reviewing warrant articles, particularly Article 3.

The override article proposes transferring $680,726 from various sources: $53,000 from the Comcast PEG Access Fund, $477,726 from the WWTP Sewer Fund, $100,000 from the Stabilization Fund, and $50,000 from Certified Free Cash, contingent on voter approval of a Proposition 2½ override. The boards examined the Library budget to ensure state waiver compliance. Final budget numbers will be determined at the April 13 meeting ahead of the April 17 warrant deadline.
