Sunderland Selectboard worked through FY27 committee appointments and discussed separate governance planning meetings. The board noted several committees still awaiting liaison responses and identified six committees missing from the appointment list entirely, aiming to finalize the list by June 22. Members also discussed plans for separate joint meetings with the Finance Committee, targeting the first meeting for this summer.
Town Administrator Brenda Torres reported attending the inaugural Economic Development Academy hosted by MassEcon, describing the workshop as informative and well-organized and noting it would help support revival of the Economic Development Committee.
